Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying, Inc is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our surveying and civil engineering team in beautiful coastal Camden, ME. The ideal candidate will have a BS in an Environmental Science field, be a licensed site evaluator and have 2 or more years of wetland delineation experience. Training can be provided for a candidate with an appropriate background. The successful candidate will join Gartley & Dorsky’s multidisciplinary firm, working closely with our team of licensed surveyors and engineers. Primary responsibilities will include a combination of project management, project proposals, and field work. Excellent communication skills and organization are desired, along with an ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects at once. Training provided for a candidate with an appropriate background.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying (G&D) is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our structural team. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Structures.

The successful candidate will join G&D’s multidisciplinary firm, working closely with our 2 structural PEs, 1 EI, structural drafter, and 20+ other licensed professionals and staff. The structural team provides comprehensive structural engineering services, including structural analysis, design, field inspections, reports, construction documents, construction administration, project management and other related tasks. Our structural projects are extremely varied, ranging from small residential renovations to large-scale industrial projects to marine engineering, historic structures and small- and mid-sized commercial buildings. Wood design knowledge, strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment are essential.

CIVIL ENGINEER

Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying (G&D) in Camden, Maine is seeking a motivated individual to join our Civil Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering, PE required, with 5 years’ experience and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. The successful candidate will join Gartley & Dorsky’s multidisciplinary firm, working closely with our team of licensed engineers and support professionals. The civil team provides comprehensive engineering services.

Our civil projects are extremely varied, including everything from small residential projects to large scale marine engineering, municipal infrastructures, small and mid-sized commercial projects, and construction administration. The primary responsibilities will include a combination of project management, field work, drafting and engineering analysis, and civil design with the amount of each dependent on the unique qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Excellent communication skills and organization are required, along with an ability to multi-task and juggle numerous projects at once.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Gartley & Dorsky Engineering & Surveying (G&D) is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our mechanical engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution, 4+ years of experience, PE license (or ability to obtain PE license within 6 months), experience using AutoCAD, HVAC software such as Trane Trace, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The successful candidate will join G&D’s multidisciplinary firm, working closely with our 2 structural PEs, 5 civil PEs, and 15+ other licensed professionals and staff. The mechanical engineering team provides comprehensive mechanical engineering services, including residential and/or institutional HVAC design, hydronic systems, heat pumps, air handling systems and radiant heating systems, reports, construction documents, construction administration, project management and other related tasks.

Excellent communication skills and organization are required, along with an ability to juggle numerous projects at once.
